how to get WMP for Vista

ritshr New Member Joined: 18 Feb 2005 Total posts: 12 Location: New Road Gender: Male Friends Items	Posted: Wed Jul 23, 2008 2:48 pm    Post subject: how to get WMP for Vista I've recently had a problem with my comp and i don't even have a backup.... the Windows Media Player won't work.... there's only shortcut and some registry.. but nothing else.. when i try to install it online, it says the version that i'm trying to install is older than the one in the registry... what should i do? plz help... give me some suggestions.

Also you can try media player classic. I highly recommend VLC player!!

But your WIndow XP should be validated! otherwise it won't install. Other way is do what bibstha said to you. EXAMPLE VLC, ZOom player, Don't forgot to install CODEC XP[ It doesn't matter whichever the codec is. Only install one] heres one of the them.
